I was in the look out for the best Italian/pizza in Basel. Somebody told me you can't get good pizza in Basel. Artigiano's proves them wrong. This pizza was incredible. It's called the Quartieri Spagnoli and I highly recommend it! Super tasty, super fast out of the pizza oven and I was super full up after!
The pizza is great, unfortunately we had an incident where we walk up to the restaurant without reservation, we had to wait. But the two italians that came after us aswell without reservation were seated whilst we were still waiting. I can only assume it happened because we were 2 male dark skinned men that might have not fit into their picture of guest.
Best pizza in town in my opinion. It was first suggested to me by my Italian friends and I wasn't disappointed. The dough is amazing and the pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven (if I'm not mistaken). Pizza bufala is a must !
A big surprise, walked for a quick lunch.. we were threated with the best Pizza in town and a pasta with genuine Ragu Napolitana. Gerne wieder.
Tasty napolitanian pizza, the menu is extensive and they have special pizzas which usually can be found only in Italy. The green terrace outsidei is perfect for summer
Was busy Saturday evening but they managed to squeeze us in, giving us an hour slot. We ordered 2 pizzas and a calzone which were delicious. Also had a couple of glasses of wine. I'd be happy to go back!
