Martha's Task Reviews | Rating 4.3 out of 5 stars (4 reviews)

Martha's Task is located in Bartlesville, United States on 718 S Johnstone Ave. Martha's Task is rated 4.3 out of 5 in the category non-profit organization in United States. Martha's Task is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping low income women improve their lives through unique job training programs in which they learn sewing and crafting skills. Established in 2000, Martha's Task provides paid training for women who learn to sew and are able to sell their merchandise keeping 100 percent of the profits of items sold in our store at 718 S Johnstone Ave in Bartlesville. We also offer an emergency assistance program through which women with an immediate need can work for three hours on simple crafts and walk out with cash in hand. Martha's Task is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit that operates entirely on donated funds and grants. We serve women in Washington, Nowata and Osage Counties as well as southern Kansas. Our clients all come to us broken in some way by the life situation in which they find themselves at that moment in time. Many are homeless, victims of domestic violence, overcoming addictions, or mentally ill. They come to us and learn new skills in a creative, therapeutic environment. When they graduate from Martha's Task seamstress training program, we provide them with a sewing machine and tools to continue creating products they can sell. We love to share more about our work! Visit us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, call 918-336-8275 or visit our office and store at 718 S. Johnstone Ave in downtown Bartlesville , which is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
