I love this place! Even with screens and social distancing the atmosphere is welcoming. The array of meats and cheeses on display (and so much more besides) is true old-fashioned eye candy and the service is superb.

Everything is top quality, good service. Local farm reared fillet steak is well worth the price, better than a top quality restaurant. Cakes are awesome too.

Fantastic Real Farm Butcher, a wide range of products from charcuterie to joints, home baking to pies, the cornish pasties, the very best I've had in a long while. Your not paying supermarket prices for sure, but quality outweighs quantity

A couple of days ago I bought some bones for my dog to make bone broth, my dog who suffers from allergies and food intolerances. The bones were bagged in the back out of sight and brought to me in the shop. I did ask if the bones could be cut smaller but the answer was it was too difficult. When I arrived home I took the bones out of the bag to cut them down myself and I was shocked and upset to find mouldy bones in the bag. These bones were for my dog who already suffers sensitivities and mould is one of his allergens, I dread to imagine how poorly he would have been had he consumed any part of those bones. Needless to say they have been placed in the freezer to throw put when the next rubbish bin day comes. I’ve managed to source fresh bones from another local butcher who was only too happy to help. It’s a pity I can’t upload photos on here because the bones were truly awful and it’s a bigger shame to be posting this given that this butcher has such good reviews.

Best butchers around, there meat is exceptional and I love there breakfast baguettes
