Our washing machine was broken. I phoned Barron bros who said they had an engineer who was close by, no mention was made of any payment. I had opened up the machine so that he could see what was going on. He came into the house and said the machine was not repairable and that he wanted 40. Total visit time 5 minutes. Wouldn't have minded if it was a small charge or if he had driven from Keith to make the inspection. Had I been told that it was going to be 40 I wouldn't have asked them to come.
