Amazing value in Barrie for newer built condo townhomes and low rise condominiums, much more spacious bedrooms offered and excellent location with walking distance to many shops and restaurants, close distance to hwy 400, booming Barrie location, bang for your buck outside the 416 and 905 locations, great investment properties, steps to schools and parks and nice sleek architecture for Barrie.

Nowhere to park for delivery’s. Can’t order anything as there is limited parking. Bayshore management decided to rent visitors spots out for 70 monthly. At first come first serve not guaranteed a spot. Visitors have nowhere to park. Bayshore manages it and are terrible. They sent me a letter to remove my car immediately from my own underground spot that I’ve had for 3 years lol unreal!
I've lived here for the past 2.5 years or so and I can't wait to finally be moving out. The homes are poorly built with water leaks coming from apartments above, poor sound insulation between both townhouses and apartments allowing you to hear TV's and talking especially the front doors of the homes, snow plow during the winter pushes snow into parking spots and parks truck there taking up almost half of one section of the parking lot. The house numbers are poorly displayed/lit up making it incredibly hard for guests and delivery drivers to found the house. The numbers for the condos are covered up by decorations with no lights shining on them, so at night time unless the person has been there before or you're standing outside they will have a very hard time finding you. You are only allowed one parking spot your second spot costs 100 a month if you can even get one of the 10 or so spots available, otherwise your car will be towed if parked in a guest spot longer than a few days, this was a complete change from when we initially moved in where we were allowed to have 2 cars. Management is strict about conformity of the homes there, you're not allowed to have curtains that are certain colors, can't keep anything other than chairs and bbq on balconies. The major issue is management is hard to get a hold of when problems arise, I've sent 3 emails and 4 phone calls regarding issues over the last 8 months and have yet to hear from them. I've talked to multiple neighbors about this and all of them have reported similar issues. I really hope they are looking to fix this in the very near future, as of right now if feels like Pratt homes just built the place and is slowly forgetting about it and the people who live there. On the plus side the people who live there are great for the most part, very nice neighbors who are very welcoming. Plus with lots of amenities nearby like Zehrs, BMO, gas stations and more it's a good location, only wish the build quality was better.
I will never buy with Pratt homes again... The experience I have had has been atrocious. I moved into my 8-plex unit in July of 2015 and I have already had water leaks, major foundation shifting, and serious mold problems. These problems were so bad I actually had to move out of my brand new home so that they could be fixed. I was mislead by their sales office, I have never experienced worse post-purchase customer service, and I am disgusted by the quality of the build in the entire Yonge Station community. I would recommend to stay away from Pratt Homes at all costs.
I bought a condo at built by Pratt Homes at their Yonge Station project. I sort of like my unit but hate!!!! the building. Residents are already discussing ripping up tiles in the Lobby and replacing them because they are white. This is Barrie people, white tiles in a Lobby are always filthy. We would also like to paint all the halls because they too are white. Everyone who comes to our building thinks it's a long term care facility. I'm not old enough yet too be put in the \ Home
