I went in to buy a bag of coffee yesterday, looking for the nuance flavours of freshly roasted coffee that you just can't get at the grocery store with generic brands. The lady at the counter was very friendly and accommodating, especially since you can't walk through the store because of Covid. They have a table setup at the front to stand at that has all the Covid protocols in place. It was my first time there and I didn't have anything in mind, so she brought over to the table all the different flavours for whole bean coffee. She described each one to me, which was awesome. But still I couldn't decide because they all sounded good. I wish I could have tried a sample coffee of each, but this was the next best thing. i was going to buy just one bag, but the prices are really good and I couldn't decide between two of them, so i got both! The House Blend and the European Espresso. House Blend, so good! It has the nuance of the fruity taste that I was looking for. You can almost still taste the coffee fruit. Hard for me to explain not being a professional taster, but this coffee is awesome and highly recommended. European Espresso, is spot on, I love it. No bitterness and very smooth. Now the question is, after these bags are done, should I get the same ones that I know I love? Or try their other roasts... to be continued. PS. The store is nice and the branding is awesome, makes me feel proud to be Canadian. And who works harder than a beaver after a freshly roasted coffee?

So glad I found Beaver Rock. The quality of their coffee is superb. They have something for everyone. I have tried a several roasteries in the area and I have to say Beaver Rock is the Best!! Time to stock up on some dam good coffee for Christmas!!
The best place ever to get coffee Jennifer is awesome she is so friendly and kind, she makes you feel comfortable and is very helpful, she welcomes us in the store and always remembers our names. We come from Alliston to get coffee because Jennifer is such a fantastic person. Beaver rock is so lucky to have Jennifer as there manager. The coffee is so tasty its so hard for me to choose a flavor because they all taste and smell so good. I'll call in my order and Jennifer will have it ready for my husband to pick it up. We love going to Beaver Rock for there coffee and Jennifer's awesome personality.
Really friendly staff, really good coffee, and an aesthetically pleasing store! I bought some creme brulee coffee here today and I'm excited to try it- I'll definitely be coming back! (Cookies are from the restaurant next door- I recommend you check them out too ;] )
I've seen firsthand the energy and time these local coffee roasters put into every bag. They also have some crazy innovative green initiatives - Absolutely recommended!
Bought this coffee for my Keurig, I never seen it before but reading the package felt comfortable buying it. I bought the dark brand. After making myself a cup I can honestly say as an avid coffee drinker, this coffee smelled bad, was excessively weak for being dark and I could barely drink it as all it was, was colored water. Unfortunately I could not see myself ever drinking this coffee and ended up throwing all 23 other pods away. This coffee has a very very long way to go to actually be a damn good coffee.
December 13 2020 - updating my previous review. Beaver Rock offers so many varieties of delicious coffee. I was there yesterday and there was a long line of people. The staff was as patient and helpful as always. thank you for staying positive and friendly during these stressful times.
