If you pick the right plates this place is fantastic. A bit overpriced but the quality is there to taste. Also a very cool place. Signature plates are pulpo a la parrilla, ceviche palteado, all the fish soups and the langostinos al ajillo. Ignore the pastas and grilled fish dishes

Worth the wait, fantastic food and atmosphere. We visited on a Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm, hoping that the busy lunch hour was over - but we quickly learnt that Peruvians eat during all hours of the day! You'll have to get a ticket number from one of the staff - the waiting system is pretty fair and clear. We waited for an hour 15mins for a table for two people. Food came very quickly and the service was friendly and quick. The ceviche is definitely worth it! Portion sizes are very generous! They take Visa MasterCard

Great local hot spot with great traditional Peruvian meals and ceviche. Huge portions and easily sharable dishes. I'd highly recommend Canta Rana if you're looking for a great place to experience Lima comfort food at reasonable prices.

This place is insanely great. Full menu of all the popular Peruvian classics, served with aplomb. Reasonable "popular" prices (not expensive) for great quality dishes: fish, meats, chifa stir fry, etc. Extremely lively at peek lunchtime, arrive by 1pm or expect to wait. Nice cool breeze passes through open windows, high ceilings keeps the sound level to a reasonable level... Palpable buzz like a musical soundtrack to the delicious parade of dishes coming from the kitchen.

Yup. This is the place to go for ceviche mixto. Squid, shrimp and more piled on large Peruvian corn and sweet potato. Tons of locals, open late, and a quick walk from The Point Hostel. Don't miss it!
