Great village shop with a small cafe.

We stayed in the village close to the store, it came in very handy when needed a few bits. The children bought there sweets there. It was great to see such great community spirit.
I have stayed at the barr on holiday since I was a kid and sadly my auntie passed away god bless her Agnes blyth very fond memories that stay with me

After a recent visit and long journey to get here, I thought I would call in for a hot roll and coffee The coffee was fine, but the roll n bacon was ruined by the use of cheap margarine, I should have been given the option! If no butter available I would have had bacon on a dry roll. It was vile, couldn't eat it but was still charge 3-60 I also asked to use toilet for journey back to Glasgow, but couldn't as it was backed up? She said? I was directed to another community hall instead. That was shut! Great pity as the Village and surrounding area was really lovely.
