We normally eat somewhere once when on holiday and move on. Our meal on our first night away was so good, it prompted us to go back. Even better. In COVID world, they have a smaller menu, but balanced with choices, including vegan options which I'm told were lovely. Service was brilliant, and only added to the fabulous quality pub food on offer. Top drawer value for money.

Lovely homely restaurant, redecorated through lock down. Waited 6 months to go back here for the spuds and carrot.. Oh my the taste is out of this world. Had pudding today and the freak cheesecake is a real must... Lovely friendly staff and even the chef comes over and chats which I think adds a nice touch to an already pleasant experience.

After an arduous walk, we arrived, hungry and gasping for a coffee, at The Castle, to be met by the most charming, helpful young man. We had a lovely cup of freshly brewed coffee and, despite the kitchen not being open, he kindly served us a scrumptious sticky toffee pudding. It's a refreshing change to meet so accomodating.

Booked for a Sunday roast and from the moment we entered the building the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and to top our experience off the food was excellent. Thank you guys keep up the good work all of you.
