Our Party stayed in Inglenook and Gatehouse cottages, both cottages were really clean, comfortable and had everything you needed! We loved exploring the area and Melanie was a wealth of knowledge about the local area and incredibly helpful. We had 6 dogs across the 2 cottages and often find it hard to find places for multiple dogs (and so welcoming!) so we will definitely be back again. A really lovely stay!

what a lovely place to stay clean tidy and everything you need hosts were lovely and just a message away beautiful views really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again and the pub up the road is amazing food was lovely does get busy but well worth the wait our dog loved playing on the hill and the walk to the beech forest was great bit steep if you dont like heights but beautiful and not to far to drive to to combe martin or lynmouth watersmeet is a must beautiful walks we will be back xxx

We stayed at Wisteria Cottage over Christmas and New Year, it was very clean, warm and comfortable. Very well-equipped with microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and kitchen equipment. Nice size fridge/freezer, great for the dogs' frozen food! Beds and seating very comfy indeed, and the wood-burning stove was lovely. The village itself is quiet, it seems quite remote and is among beautiful scenery, but is actually quite close to Barnstaple which has everything you could need. Unfortunately the local pub was closed since Covid restrictions meant it was not viable to remain open, but it is a short walk away, and we look forward to trying it on our next visit.

We've recently returned from a lovely stay in the Garden Cottage.The cottage was a good size for our family of 3 and a dog. The garden is only big enough for the dog to go to toilet and have mooch about but there is a wonderful space for walking the dog on the grounds. My daughter loved exploring the grounds and play area. The cottage kitchen was well equipped and the WiFi connection worked well. The cottage had lots of information about the area, there was also a good selection of books and games. After a long drive the tea and milk provided was very welcomed. Melanie the owner is a wealth of information, she is really lovely and nothing is too much trouble for her. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cosy cottage, well equipped. Very clean. In beautiful quiet village with a great pub! Lovely walks from your doorstep.
