Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff Food is excellent and home cooked/freshly prepared Good selection of beers and other drinks Covid compliance is probably some of the best I've seen with a proper cleaning regime, temperature checks of all guests etc I would have gave 5 stars if we had not been sat at a table next to the door within inches of people walking in and out. This undid all the other covid measures. Either don't use this table or put a perspex screen between this cover and guests walking in and out.

The place itself was great, outside seating area was lovely and inside decor was nice too. I ordered the hot steak sandwich with chips and a side salad for 15. The food came about 10-15minutes later. The homemade chips were in a little basket and to say they were burnt is probably an understatement there was only one that wasn't! The steak I'd asked for medium seemed more like well done and the coating on it of caramelized onion tasted lovely but the meat was far too chewy and the panini was breaking up everytime I tried to pick it up. The side salad was very nice in a lovely dressing. Overall a disappointing meal I'm only thankful it was on the Eat Out To Help Out Scheme so I got it for half price. My friend had a jacket potato with prawns and a salad and not only did it look lovely she said it tasted great too, so maybe I was just unlucky with my meal? We had warm chocolate pudding and cream for afters and that was lovely and you got a big portion. The staff were very helpful but waiting times for drinks and the bill seemed to take forever, but it was busy so can be forgiven. I don't think I'd go again just because it seemed a little overpriced for what is was but the atmosphere was lovely and a great place to spend a few hours in the sunshine in the beer garden.

Top quality gorgeous food. Staff were really friendly too. Will definitely be going back. We are in the heated garden, dogs were welcome to they were muddy from the walk we were just on. Disabled access on Scooter.

a truly amazing atmosphere all the staff are polite and friendly and welcoming to adults and children and the food was amazing. The pub definitely worth going for food or just for a drink. I will definitely be going again.
