Barn close nurseries have such a great range of trees and plants. James helped us choose the right Christmas tree for our house last year, giving advice on size and conditions when we needed it. Barn close nurseries are incredibly helpful with deliveries and advice. No job is too small.

You really can't ask for more from a local nursery. James, the owner, goes above and beyond, to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for. Looking around my Dad's garden, it is a real tribute to Barn Close, as 90% of it was sourced by James. An absolute wealth of knowledge. The plants are such quality. A real treasure trove.

Lovely friendly family run nursery that offers great value for money. Bought some lovely heather, cyclamen and other plants for colour for my winter pots.. definately cheered me up in dismal times. Always get our tree from them at Christmas and the quality is outstanding.

Bought two Japanese Maples here, after checking quite a few more others garden centres in the area, they have a wide range of trees and bushes in different sizes but not only, my trees were a bargain considering the size and shape they were in. Thanks, I’ll be back for sure.

We have been coming to Barn Close for all our gardening needs for a number of years. James and Chrissie and the team couldn’t be more helpful and the family run nature of the nursery is just what the soul needs to see in times like this! James has just helped us set up the local school memorial garden too! We have always got our Christmas trees from them and this year will be no change. They’ve been fab through the whole of lockdown maintaining social distancing and abiding by every guideline the government has thrown at them and still it remains friendly and welcoming!
