I did my high school years in here and it is pretty good with well trained teachers and a vast amount of resources. However Heolddu is under funded in areas we need them the most such as ceilings in the ICT rooms and broken instruments in the music room. Considering these were the two most sought subjects by Year 9 pupils you would have thought they would get a bit more of a budget than the PE department and I haven't even mentioned how the library doesn't have enough money to buy a lot of books.

This school is a good school, but it needs more funding as a the roofs are falling through and very unsafe conditions. There is a certain member of staff I have had trouble with on multiple occasions. Overall it is a good school with beautiful scenery and it's in a lovely location but it DEFINITLEY needs more funding. P.S: They also helped me get my 3 D's and one B Back in the early 2000's :::::::::)))))))
This school is good for education but the amount of bullying I've been through with the school is unbelievable, it is good though for education like the learning qualities are really good, all the teachers are really good with helping you Learn the topic your learning, my favourite teacher is Mr Johnson he is funny in lessons helps if you need help or any problems is needed help with.
If I had kids I wouldn't send them here, my life was made hell by bullying when I was there and not just by other pupils but by a certain teacher too. Didnt have the support from the headmaster either. There were some nice teachers there ill give them that but thats about it.
