Wonderful historic building that reminds of the past. It’s always great to have sights like this in towns, gives the surrounding charm and breaks off the „cleanliness“. I appreciate that Southampton takes care of its history.

This is more todo with the German Christmas market in the precinct opposite the Bargate. Lots of chalets selling food drink and other goods for presents etc. Close by is the outdoor ice skating rink

If you visit southampton do check this place out ,iconic place depicting the history of southampton. Nice and tidy as well as good restaurants nearby. If you are planning to do shopping westquay mall is nearby too.
