It is a very good railways station. . Have all the facilities there in the station. ..also have storage system Al types of transport are managed. ..I like it very much. .. One of the busiest railway junctions. It is becoming crowded day after day. Thanks to Indian Railway department for installing escalators in platforms. Public lavatory in platform 1 is under maintenance now. recently one part of its entrance building collapsed as it was more than hundred years old The station serves as a important hub for communication. The station is equipped with all kind of facility that one May expect from a important junction station. But on January 4, 2020 considerable amount portion of the station has collapsed suddenly during busy hours ,the reason of the incident is many due to lack of maintenance of the old station building structure which was Built during British Raj time. In the incident 5 people were reportedly injured severely. And Railway board after that incident were looking up to make there service more effect by taking major steps to prevent such incident in future as of January 5, 2020 Good enough area and infrastructure. Approx all types of train like super fast, express, menu passenger are stop in this station. But cold water is available only from platform no1. This is not good for this type of station. And the stair of platform no. 4 & 5 is too narrow. All type of trains are stopped here like superfast, passenger, mail, express. Station premises is also good. The busiest station of the district with facilities like food stall, magazine stall , help centre , waiting hall , washroom . The station is one of the oldest station and recently a part of it collapsed reflecting the neglect of government towards its maintaince. The outskirts of the station is filled with toto and Rick-shaw creating problem for new comers

One of the nost busiest jn of eastern railway. U can get the train here for almost all over the country especially north bengal, north east states, delhi , jammu , amritswar, mumbai and chennai etc. The station needs a little bit maintenance. The footover bridges are too deplorable. The main building collapsed recently. Little clearness also require....
The Bardhaman railway station in West Bengal will be named after revolutionary freedom fighter Batukeshwar Dutt. It's a railway junction station on the Howrah-Delhi main line and is located in Purba Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal. EMU services from Howrah along Howrah-Bardhaman main line and Howrah-Bardhaman chord terminate at Bardhaman. The whole station platforms are given with high speed wifi access provided by Google. Also the station has escalator service in platform number 2, 3 and 8. Automated ticket vending machines are there at both side of the station where tickets can be got both by giving cash, using card, UTS mobile system etc.
Its major platform . The crowd is great and the local people are large in number. As the Kolkata express and howrah express the superfast express don't have a stop here.Who have to reach here depart on Durgapur railway station from there after every 30 minutes local train runs . The fare is 15 rs. It takes 60 minutes to reach bardhman railway station.
It's a very good railway station all decorated and waiting room are there and clean toilet are there.
