This is an amazing home! I would highly recommend it The staff are amazing and very helpful, they are caring towards the residents and that extends to the resident's family. The communication between the home and family is great, it is so nice to have the weekly updates and when ever you call the home, the staff are always there to help. The food is fabulous, the rooms are lovely and the grounds to the house are lovely too. The visiting suite is a lovely place to visit relatives. Lovely to see the regular facebook photos of staff awards, food menus, residents doing activities.

Lynde House is an outstanding Care Home, with wonderfully caring staff throughout, from ancillary staff to the Manager. My brother was very swiftly assessed in hospital, and rapidly admitted to a lovely, bright room, with a beautiful view over the gardens. The level of care he received, in the last two weeks of his life, was also outstanding. The nursing, and care staff, were unfailingly kind and compassionate, and always responsive to his needs. This kindness was also extended to us, his family, by all the staff at the Lynde House; we cannot thank, all of them, enough! The menu's offered were varied, and the quality of food very high. The whole home is beautifully clean, and well decorated, with lovely and extensive gardens.
I found it to be spectacularly first class. It actually felt like I was in a really nice hotel. The food at the restaurant was really good and tasty. The staff all seemed very polite and caring. The grounds are really nice and pleasant and the garden is lovely in the summer. The decoration is also very tasteful and well done.
Best take account of the rating of an experienced guest. During nearly four years we have experienced the friendly smiles of every member of staff from manager to janitor. Nothing is too much trouble, regardless of who you ask. A high level of nursing care is accompanied by efficient personal care (important when you’re no longer mobile), excellent home cooking and regular live entertainment and activities. A lovely spot near the River, with convenient transport links.
Such a lovely Care Home and having an amazing experience volunteering here, they really do care for their residents and go the extra mile. The meals provided are just exceptional and really enjoyed a 3 course meal and was surprised that staff provide a table service to everyone which was like going for a meal in a restaurant and the residents raved about the food provided.
