Barchester - Flowerdown Care Home

When my Mum decided she wanted to go into a home I had no idea of what to do . I contacted Flowerdown as a start and the first person I spoke to was Hazel. I will never forget the kind, calm , reassuring and compassionate way she spoke to me - thank you Hazel. The staff, both care team and nursing team made us all feel very welcome , Dad visited daily - he has dementia , they were so caring and attentive to him he always felt like he was part of the Flowerdown family - he misses seeing you all ! My Mums quality of life improved dramatically during her stay at Flowerdown , I am comforted that she was in the best place before she passed away. I cant thank the staff enough - all of you - but I must express special thanks to Umi and Tok. At this point I must mention that all the staff deserve special praise for the way they managed the Covid crisis restrictions . Alli Grey

I had occasion recently to make a one-of visit to a resident in this care home. I was bowled over by the kindness and obvious caring attitude of all staff. To a person, they could not have been nicer. Thank you all.
