My gran was resident in Balclutha Court for 3 years. This was a big deal for my Gran as she was moving from Glasgow where most of her family stayed. What we didn’t realise when my Gran moved to Balclutha she would gain another family. From the day that my Gran moved in she was loved and cherished by the staff which was so heartwarming for us as it was such a big decision for the family. My Gran spent her final years with her ‘family’ in Balclutha Court and they looked after her like she was their own. The lovely staff members within the Home also looked after us latterly when my Gran’s life was coming to an end. We will always consider the staff within Balclutha Court as our extended family and our memories of good times are plenty. From the General Manager, Alison to the kitchen staff it was evident to us that they all cared and are passionate about the jobs they do. I would just like to say thank you to the whole team for the loving care and compassion that they showed us all while my Gran was with us. I would wholeheartedly, and often do to my colleagues and friends, recommend Balclutha Court as a family environment that focuses on their residents.

My wife has been in Balclutha for 8 months now. It was the hardest decision of our family's life. We needn't have worried so much. My wife has thrived since becoming a resident. The staff are extremely caring. Go above and beyond their remit. Always on hand to answer any queries we have. Always some kind of activities going on. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank Alison and ALL the staff at Blaclutha. Thank you.
My friend is in Balclutha Court and loves staying there. The staff are all so friendly and caring and there is always something going on - a true home from home. You are always made to feel so welcome.
I visit my aunt at Balclutha Court on a regular basis ,the staff are fantastic .They are extremely helpful,always have a kind word .She is very happy and loves to join in the activities .She has really improved since she has moved in.They always make me feel very welcome offering me tea and coffee ,nothing is a bother to them.I would highly recommend Balclutha, a home from home . I currently provide a hairdressing service at Balclutha Court. It's a lovely home - the staff are so friendly and welcoming and the residents all so happy. Would definitely recommend Balclutha Court
