I have worked at Arbour Court for nearly 7 years now, I have volunteered, been a carer and I am now one of the Activity Co-ordinators here at Arbour Court. I couldn't think of a better place to work, the residents here are at Arbour Court are at the heart of all of our staff, they are more like family.

My wife's Aunt was resident at Arbour Court and from the moment she arrived her overall health improved. She was treated more like a family member than just a resident! The attitude of the staff was brilliant and they always ensured she was safe and comfortable. Any fall or incident was immediately reported to us and appropriate action taken. I would recommend them without hesitation and would like to thank every member of staff that dealt with her and made her final years as good as they could have possibly have been. This is a senior home that was always clean and fresh to visit along with a friendly greeting.
If you are looking for a care home where residents are treated with dignity, respect, professionalism, and friendliness, then look no further. We have used several across the Stockport area and others pale into insignificance. This is the place we are pleased to call the last home for our relative Don Perry. The only home that have the staff ratio they tell you about. Nurses and staff on both floors 24 hours a day.

My dad has been a much cared for and genuinely respected resident for a number of years, after becoming too ill to be cared for at home. The staff are lovely. The rooms are well appointed. The food is pretty good given that it has to cater to a range of tastes.
My mother stayed here, appalling place, I was told entertainment was on daily to stimulate her, there was something on once a month, I was told her dietary needs would be adhered to, utter rubbish, it was 3 standard meals a day if the didn't eat it there was nothing else, my mother lived on wotsits and chocolate buttons, t So I I left a message every week for the manager to call me, they never did, wouldn't recommend this place at all, I asked for cheese on toast for my mum, and got grated cheese on bread, say no more, I wish I could upload a picture....
