If you are walking in the parc, don't forget to visit the greenhouse. Nice tropical plants in a cool atmosphere. A little bit hidden but once you are here, you want to look out for more. Watch out: it is not open very often, so check the opening hours before to go.

Very beautiful! It's a large space, near the Zoo and The Arc de Triumph. Lots of people are in there, having all kind of activities. You can easily spend an hour or two just walking all over..
Just love this parc... but I also wish that conservatories would be open!
One of Barcelona's best hidden gems. Shade from the direct sunlight of the summer afternoon and best of all it's free. Containing plants which usually grow in tropical and subtropical forests and built over 120 years ago. Everytime I have been here, we have had the place to ourselves. So, take a picnic, sit on one of the cast-iron benches and escape the madness of Barcelona!
The other day I went to the Umbracle, a different and untypical garden of the Ciutadella Park. I think it is a very relaxing place where you can breathe well and there are many types of plants that I liked a lot. There are also several benches where you can sit and contemplate the different types of plants. And there are also some holes in the ceiling, which is for when it rains, because in this way you can use the rain water to water the plants. This building is really different from the other ones in the Park. Its esthetics is nice. I recommend going there because it is a very nice place where you can relax a lot.
