A lot of sketches, like a lot. Interesting see the different periods of his life, but is was not chronological. I guess it would help if you read up on the before. The museum itself is very nice though.

Amazing museum. You can get lost in Picasso's genius there for hours.
Lot to see! Lot to read about an amazing artist! But it is not all. The inside of the building is beautiful, some rooms are even more attractive than the art. The museum contain lots of realistic portraits, and few amazing works of cubism! Definitely worth seeing. But you need to be ready to spend there more than an hour to understand magnificent of this works. If you will analyze painting one by one you will see a real story from Picasso life.
Magnificent museum with artwork of the genius Picasso. Being involved with art and design I have found the museum to have ignited and awakened a strong sense of inspiration. Highly recommended! There weren’t a lot of people especially around these times but this has given me the ability and pleasure to enjoy Picasso’s artwork intimately without much noise.
Free on thursday evenings, book in advanced! It's not far from the gothic quarter so you can make it a whole day excursion in the city. The gift shop is great with many options for souvenirs. There are strict entrance rules with CoVid-19, many sanitation stations upon entry as well as a guided walkway in one direction
