Maybe their theory and their purpose are good and Thievy doctors must know a lot too... , but when dealing with needs and demands of patients and family they don’t really seem to understand you ...all is theory. In my personal experience I had an I terview with a social worker for my mum’s Alzheimer case and I was expecting to put my mum for some therapy and asked them several times if I could bring her once or twice per week, which they know since October when I first came to the center, and they keep talking about other things (that I am dealing with already). I understand that I need to care every day for mum but they should understand that it’s good for her to have some kind of mental activity for encouraging her brain. Felt very frustrated when I left as my question about her activities on the center weren’t answered why? They don’t have enough staff for caring and organizing activities for people with this Illness? It’s hard enough for family to deal with illness that they have to feel missunderstood ?

Llego 10 minutos tarde, me hacen esperar 2 horas hasta que me marcho sin realizar la visita porque ya veía que tendría que esperar 2 horas más. A todo esto mi madre con Alzheimer y mi hijo de doce años solos en casa. Cosa que dije en recepción. Lo que es empatía no tienen, eso seguro

No tengo palabras suficientes de agradecimiento para todos las/os PROFESIONALES de la Fundación... Desde la recepción a las neuropsicologas.. Neuróloga... Enfermeras... Departamento de ensayos clínicos....mi esposa fue visitada en primer lugar por la Dra. Rosende.... Al inicio de la enfermedad... \deterioro cognitivo leve\....el trato que da a los pacientes y familiares es muy familiar... Amable.. Y informa a la familia en todo lo que Le preguntes de forma muy comprensible. Hace un año y medio inició un tratamiento ciego para un estudio para ralentizar la enfermedad, con la Dra. LAFUENTE, a la que Le agradezco toda la paciencia que ha tenido con migo a lo largo del estudio... atendiendo mis llamadas y correos electrónicos y en la consulta, con resolviendo cualquier pregunta sobre la evolución de la enfermedad y su comprensión y trato amable con mi esposa.... Mi agradecimiento lo hago extensivo a todo el excelente equipo de profesionales que la acompaña.
