In Uvita, you have the beach and Los Laureles! Genuine cuisine (made from scratch) cooked by a passionate owner. I took the combo shrimp and fish tacos. The fish is clearly a winner for me. I also took the beef brisket wrap (big portion) with homemade dressing and filling. It is a place I would love to go back. One of the best during my 3 month trip in CR!!! Thank you Cindy!

This is not only some of the best food you will find in Costa Rica but some of the best food you will find on this planet! This quaint spot in the heart of Uvita is a must stop if you were looking for some of the best food you will ever eat prepared and served by a wonderfully delightful family! Cindy is so sweet and prepares an incredible array of dishes from salads, sandwiches wraps appetizers seafood and even Italian. We live in Uvita and eat there regularly. My favorite right now is the brisket wrap, but our family has had more than half the menu and every single dish is delicious! If you get there early, you would be wise to reserve one of the homemade sticky buns made fresh regularly. They will blow your mind! There’s plenty of room for groups of all sizes. This is a must stop if you are in Uvita or just passing through!
Best food we had on our whole trip to Costa Rica. Fish tacos are a MUST! Best fish tacos of my life!!! (I’m from Baja California, known for our fish tacos, so this is saying something ) a close second were the loaded patacones. Wish I could have tried everything, it was so good!!! Plus, the owner is so sweet and they have a great nature walk on the property. Highly recommend

Excellent food and even better service; friendly and comfortable. We split the Birria Tacos and the bacon cheeseburger—both were really really good. Cindy and our waitress made us feel like we were regulars. Great place!
Fantastic! Ordered the fish tacos and patacones. The reviews were correct! One of the best fish tacos we've ever had! The mango salsa on top was to die for And the kombucha was wonderful. To top it all off, the waitress made the whole experience even better. Usually places have good reviews because of the food OR the service. THIS PLACE is BOTH!! Just go :)
