Have been meaning to try Bar Maroc for ages, but never seem to get there, am s disappointed that I have never made it before ! Good selection of beers available - I liked the Chopper from Great Heck. The bar is relaxing and spacious inside and nicely lit. Fab staff and fab pizzas at a great price. Will be returning soon.

An AMAZING place. The atmosphere is so chilled and so cool. The bar is small and humble but hey don’t mess about with the Ales; lots of local brews to pass many hours! The cocktail list is extensive, varied with classics and new recipes and are fairly cheap but excellent all across the board. The pizzas are incredible. For the value they are the best pizza in town; all veggie options, you choose 3 toppings then anything else is extra. Fully recommend Hummus on the pizza. Bar Maroc is a place to go on all occasions and energy levels; want an ale? want a night out? Want to simply sit with a brew and read? All is possible at all times and all are welcome. The bar below ‘Small Seeds’ (see photo of ‘The Good Earth Collective’ playing, attached) is brilliantly and wonderfully decorated. Drinks and pizzas available down here from the same owners as upstairs. Great live music venue and great music there after.
My friend and I visited here on a Friday evening for a catch up. It’s tucked away int the building opposite Huddersfield Police Station and I didn’t even know it was there prior to going. It’s a nice, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of comfy sofa style lounge beds to sit/lay on and relax. There’s your standard tables and booths also.

Really crispy and delicious. It’s very studenty, however there were a variety of people of different ages in there relaxing. Will 100% be returning in the future.
One of our favourite bars in Huddersfield. Excellent veggie pizzas. Good cocktails, although often quite sweet so if you like your mojito not to sweet ask for less sugar. They have a games cupboard too so a great place to spend an evening.
