They helped us with a table quite late so thankful for that. The food was good. Our group had different main courses. Fish was great. Desserts very good. Staff was ok, they could have been more friendly. Also a bar there. WC. Some parking in the street. Not sure about restrooms for wheelchair tough.

In an otherwise bustling and rather young resort town, La Pause is a peaceful and calm restaurant with a great menu and superb staff.
Went for Christmas dinner and had an extremely disappointing experience. There is lot of effort put into fancy plates and presentation but not nearly enough into making sure the dishes are edible. The beef tail was extremely poor in taste and quality of meat. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
[Christmas menu] At the beginning everything is perfect until we wait for more than 25min for the cheese and dessert. One waiter has an unacceptable attitude as he didn’t ask for our choice of cheese and just brought us two random cheeses and explained that « it is like this if you are in a hurry » . I know it is Christmas time and the chef did the best but it is not a good excuse for slowing down the service for 25min right??? And why another table who is waiting for the same time but can choose as the waiter presents the cheese in a very polite way? When we raised the problem to the manager she didn’t even show a single understanding and just said sarcastically « either we wait for a slow service or we have no choice ». Then she made a un willing apology (I wouldn’t even call it an apology) and offered us a box of cheeses. - I mean, we as customers only care for cheeses? We are not some cheap people who just want more cheese for free. If you don’t see the real problem of your service or your attitude, you’d better not do fine dining as the service, not just the food, is what we pay 90 each for. PS. Not all the waiters and the waitress are having that attitude. We are happy with the other two waiters and the waitress who are amazing.
A very good restaurant within the price range for this are. One of the nicer places we ate in in this price range in val thorens. Everything was delicious and they paired a great wine for our meal.

Amazing food, everything is extremely fresh, and perfectly cooked, serving is beautiful. Had burgers and monk fish, and it is close to the best I've ever had. I'd highly recommend it both for lunch and dinner.
