Lovely pub to visit, we visited in the evening when it was quite cold but would love to go back in Summer to sit outside with the amazing views. The pub itself was warm and welcoming, the food was great.

The best of Scottish cuisine and hospitality ! Enjoy your meal in the cosy bar for extra atmosphere. Best cranachan ever ... although a walk in the hills is necessary after a delicious meal here! Became our 'local' during our short stay on this magical Isle.

Popped in for some lunch today and left very happy. Good food (had soup and sandwich and the steak burger) and very reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful staff. After eating we had a drink by the water with the stunning views. Would definitely come again!

We arrived late and ended up missing the whiskey tastings next door. The friendly bartender gave us a tasting of their whiskeys at the bar despite the busy crowd. We had the daily special which was fresh caught langoustines in garlic butter with toasted sourdough - one of the better meals of my life. An absolutely gorgeous location, terrific drinks, amazing food, and full of locals. Ridiculously good hospitality, we probably drank 12 ounces of free whiskey between the 3 of us, never had anything like that happen before. This is the kind of place you have to see to believe. Truly a magical experience and a special memory.

We ate here while staying in the hotel for one night and the food was absolutely wonderful! It can get busy, so we did have to wait a bit to pounce on a table, but it was worth it. The pub has a great atmosphere and charm - with good whisky choices from their on site distillery (the rum cask blend was particularly good!), our meal was excellent(especially the sticky toffee pudding!)
