I have always liked this place and bought a lovely standard rose there earlier this year. However, I ordered a new wooden side gate from Richard back In the lockdown and despite quite a few conversations to progress the gate it has still not arrived. The worst part of this is that there has been no contact from him, I feel very disappointed, especially as he is aware that the gate is for a single lady’s security.

Ordered a summerhouse, we knew it was going to be a few months wait which we understood due to Covid. It was a month later than told which again we would have understood but we had no communication from the garden centre at all. When it finally was delivered, a part was wrong. When we phoned up they said they had noticed before delivery but delivered it anyway. Didn't apologise or seem bothered, just kept blaming the supplier and not taking ownership of the problem. Told the part would be changed on a certain day and it didn't turn up, phoned up again and staff member was extremely rude (understatement). So many issues with the whole thing, too long to put into a review, I could have coped with the problems if the staff had any customer service skills. They avoided contact with me and never called or messaged me back when I tried to contact them. Even now, weeks later, after offering me something free at their cafe as a 'gesture of good will', they never sent the confirmation they said they would.
Wonderful gem of a garden centre and café.
