I think Bankers are 1 of the Best Fish n Chips Plaice!! Normally a Restaurant too but not@present in Lockdown Unfortunately! Hopefully it will be Open Soon

Bankers has been there for years, the waiting staff have also been there for years. The food is completely reliable, always excellent; well cooked fish, crispy batter, AMAZING chips, great mushy peas. During lockdown we ordered fish and chips to be delivered, it arrived quickly was boiling hot and just as good as in the restaurant, the wonderful waiting staff mean that we will “eat in” as soon as we are allowed, but home delivery once or twice a month has kept us going through the pandemic. In summary, the food and service are reliable and good, prices are reasonable to the extent where we always take visitors from out of town because it doesn’t matter how “foodie” you are or aren’t, this place will go down well with everyone!

Fantastically clean and welcoming staff, would recommended coming here for a cheap and filling lunch. Marc served us and was great. Only draw back us that I was unable to Tip via card payment as I had no cash on me and I would of liked to of been able to show my appreciation for the great service without the inconvenience of having to go to an ATM.

I was recommended this place as the Best in Brighton. I am not usually fond of fish and chips and generally do not see what the fuss is about but this place is on another level. Great place, nice surroundings, extremely friendly staff, fantastic food, really good. I was genuinely impressed and I will be going there again. Really liked it.
