Not really the kind of establishment that I was expecting to find in Hathersage but what a nice surprise. We weren't expecting it to be busy on a Monday lunchtime and it wasn't so can't really give a guide as to how the service is when it's busy but the food is obviously freshly prepared and both our sandwiches were excellent and we both ordered chips. Pleasant surroundings and very good food on a chance visit.

Nice enough place. The food is fine, there are some good local bottled beers but no real ales. Friendly staff.
Eat out to help out booking. It was clearly full, within limits, with people also at the bar. Food was great, well served and tasty. Only the slightest issue being the steaks were over done, medium as opposed to medium rare, but that's really a first world problem. Worth a visit.
Staff was very nice. Seafood linguini was good, gambas are over priced and not what we expected (as we know from Spain). They also mentioned it comes with focaccia on the menu, however it came was with toast. Wine was very good but the waitress poured the wine holding the glass in her hand which is weird. Generally nice experience but I had to argue with my friends about the focaccia issue. If menu says you get to focaccia you should get focaccia. Especially when you expect focaccia for 8.50
Dropped in for a drink and stayed and had 4 tapas dishes and drinks.Warm comfortable surroundings and very nice attentive staff.Great atmosphere and gentle music playing in the background. Found the toilets to be spotless and even had a nice smell!!.Will definitely come again in the future as food was super tasty.Good mix of young and old people enjoying great service.Thankyou.
