This is a place where I volunteer for just over 3 years now fantastic experiences over this time bonding with people from different backgrounds on a weekly basis so much goes on, one day never the same as the next. Band offers a great help and support for people in need and if we don't offer the service we point them in the right direction.

I have been working with BAND for some time now & I cannot say enough to represent the gratitude I feel towards this fantastic team of people & the work they do.I have been involved with NHS mental health care for years & though now services are looking to improve BAND have been my rock. BAND's staff & volunteers have seen me through many unstable & vulnerable times with respect compassion & great understanding, helping me get back on my recovery path.BAND have a multitude of services to offer the individual dependant on their needs. In this last week I have achieved a massive personal goal & had my first true taste of pride & self worth, none of this would have been achieved without the constant support & encouragement of people involved with BAND. I would & have recommended BAND for a long time now so I would just like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have been involved with my recovery, for helping me find who I am on my journey. Double thumbs up! :) Jo. Ps BAND have helped me shed the shroud of shame attached to the ignorance & stigma of mental health in society.
