I love fishing at Raemoir I always try for at least one day here when I am on holiday. Mike is such a nice guy and knowledgeable. I usually take one decent fish on the fly here, nothing today unfortunately but still had a great day. If you want to give fly fishing a try or your an experienced hand you should visit Raemoir.

Great day out for kids and adults alike. Pros - lovely setting, big ponds mean lots of room for everyone. Very low prices and all the kit you need can be hired. Turn up as a total new start and they'll kit you out for under 20. Cons - the children's bait pond isn't catch & return - you have to kill and keep the fish, so be ready to gut and eat! That said you're almost guaranteed to catch a fish! The fly pond is catch and return.
Had a great afternoon at Raemoir, my Son & I had fished for 1st time in Turkey last year so got a quick reminder from Mike, turns out I played football with Mike at Woodside years ago, my girlfriend caught our only fish just before we left, good place for family for a day out, Mike was on hand to give the kids a lollipop at the end. Thanks for your help Mike
What a fantastic place. If you love to fish or want to try for the first time, this is the perfect place. Calm and tranquil and great for kids. Also has a resident Osprey who we saw catch trout in one of the ponds. Thankfully our catch was safe.
What a beautiful and relaxing place to be! My children and I had a great time fishing plus the ducks kept visiting us which was super nice. We caught 6 big fish. My 7 year old caught his first fish within two minutes! It was very exciting!! Mike, the owner, was very nice to the children and they got sweets at the end. I highly recommend this place especially when you have children. We will definitely go back as much as we can as I love seeing my children so happy and having so much fun. Thank you, Mike!
