I have never had Ethiopian food before and I don’t know what to expect. HOWEVER, the injera is so fluffy and manage to stay moist enough to be eaten alone, and yet dry enough to use as a plate/spoon tool for the meat. I’m Malaysian so we use our roti often to eat with seasoned meats but this is my first time experiencing Ethiopian cuisine and I am a fan for life! Her cooking methods are amazing and you can tell it was made with love and to give anyone who eats her food some happiness. The kitfo is wonderfully seasoned and not too spicy, I was very skeptical of the raw beef initially, but now I don’t care anymore and I will eat this repeatedly!!! The doro wat was so good, and she gave so many eggs! I don’t think you can go wrong eating here if you are in the area. Hey you, Malaysian person reading this! I encourage you guys to try it lah!!! Jom makan! Super sedaps.

Came in right at opening time on a Sunday, really tasty food and good service. The stuffed bread appetizer - I forget what it's called, but it's so good.

Wow!! So absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. I really enjoyed the ambiance and music in the restaurant too--it is all very cozy. We had the Shero Wot which went spectacularly well with the small Veggie Combo. Shero Wot is like an orange, blended chick pea and veggie soup that you dip the Injera (fermented bread) into. The veggie combo came with 3 different types of lentils, salad, collard greens, and okra, and it was so absolutely fantastic. The Ethipoian beer was really light and delicious, and the Mango drink was tasty as well. We will definitely be back!:)

Definitely a favorite spot for some good Ethiopian food! Every dish was mouth watering tasty and the injera was spot on! Will definitely recommend to those in Seattle looking for their Ethiopian food fix! Favorites were definitely the shero wat and the sambus beef
