It’s a lovely place! Went there for lunch/brunch and food was lovely! Had avocado on toast with poached eggs and grilled mozzarella and it was very delicious. Avocado was very fresh and eggs were cooked quite nicely. The hot drinks were great too. Gardens were very well set up and all precautions taken for C-19, no contact at all with customers and there were small desks next to the tables where they serve all the food; thus minimum 2 meters of social distancing was kept all the time with all customers and staff. Also, all tables were disinfected before being seated, and one way system was very well designed. The only negative would be the price as it’s slightly overpriced for a cafe. However, it wouldn’t take a star of my rating! Overall, I’d be the happy regular customer if I was living nearby!

I really struggle in social situations, but Blake’s is one of my safe spaces. They are always so kind and accommodating. The food and drinks are amazing. (The mochas are immense!) Also, the proprietors genuinely care about the local community and the environment. Blake’s ticks all the boxes for me. Can’t wait for the Battenburg Buns to return! See you soon!
Lovely food, was very impressed but only called in for a pastry for lunch, went to counter and the girl serving was awful, stand there waiting to get 1 item and watch her walk to 2 tables, make 2 salads, have a chat to a colleague, and then decide to serve me, about 10 mins after walking in for a pastry that would take her 2 seconds. Was very poor. So apart from service the place is nice, might be worth putting someone with manners serving people.
The best thing in (or near rather) the Cotswolds since the stone. Post Office in there too. No excuse not to go. Go there now, right now. I just had a pulled pork bap and a kinder brownie, I feel top notch. Go there now! You can order online , which is a good idea as they often run out. Go!
