Baluchi - A Pan Indian Destination

The trimmings of your inn are the individuals who favor entering over and over. Baluchi is a rich high end café of The Lalit Mumbai in Andheri East, Chakala and is extraordinary compared to other feasting objections for curries in the city. This upscale exquisite feasting space is ideal spot to bring somebody you are meaning to intrigue. The kitchens of Baluchi are known to serve a Pan Indian menu that traversed the country, zeroing in incredibly on Awadhi flavors. I like the way that each dish comes matched with a wine, in the event that you pay attention to your wines. Take a stab at wiping up the curries with a Baluchi naan or varqi parantha or missi roti. A pot of fragrant biryani won't go not right here. To carry your night to its legitimate end enjoy Baluchi's rich treat range. Finish, gulab jamun, zafrani angoori rabdi, anjeer badam ka halwa, taaze kate falon ka nazrana, kesari kulfi and paan ki kulfi. Calorie watchers can fold righteous into a sugar free rasmalai. The basic bar-entryway access to Baluchi streams into a roomy good old looking lounge area, decked up with wooden furniture shrouded in light red upholstery. The inconspicuous downplayed tastefulness of the insides quiets you and causes you to feel very comfortable. Baluchi is costly, save it for extraordinary events. The Dal Baluchi is finger licking acceptable The menu is Pan Indian yet with a stressed Awadhi flavor On offer are additionally some intriguing South Indian arrangements, for example, the stew and kottu curry

One-line headline – Drooling Goan Cuisine Comes Alive with Susegado Mumbai food festival at The Lalit. Xacutti. Recheado. Xeque xeque. Ambot tik. Feijoada. Sorpotel. Never before would you have been so semantically food stumped. Amidst the whiff of coconut, the hiss of an oven and the sizzle in a wok, The Lalit Hotels prime restaurant Baluchi is faltering with inflexion and diphthong of typical Goan dishes. It’s time to feast with the array of the Goa’s culturally rich cuisine carefully curated by Executive Chef Tanmoy Majumdar (and his team). Believe me the visit will surely be etched out as a fond memory for a lifetime. Minute detailing has been kept in mind. The ambiance has been revamped to get the Goan beach feel. Vintage wine bottles adorn the stacks to enhance the Goan backdrops. Famous Goan melodies play in the backdrop. You are welcomed and garlanded with a beautiful creative sea-shell neckpiece (unlike a floral garland). And yes, this is a keep-sake memory from the stables the Lalit Hotels group for you. Such subtle gestures speak volumes of the Limitless Hospitality of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group. Kudos to Mr. Keshav Suri, Executive Director - The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, to come up with this enticing brainwave / Concept of Executive Chef Pop-up to cross-promote Executive Chefs and bring to life the various flavours of India in their hotel properties. The buzz is strong that the group has an amazing line-up of never-done before food festivals. The Susegado Mumbai food festival at The Lalit will be on from 21st to 30th July 2018. Make sure you experience the true unmatched and scintillating flavours.

Had a good experience here . The starter was average , however it was claimed that it's a chef special . Kofta was tomato based but good enough.

The Baluchi at the LaLit is an excellent choice for North Indian food, right up the league with ITC's Dum Pukht. We visited on a weekday and the place was empty. There was live old Bollywood music being played. The service was slow and I found it to be inferior to what you'd expect at a Fine Dine, but not bad by any standards. Recommended Dishes: Veg Seekh Kebab - Really well made and tasty. Paan Biryani - It was alright. It was fragrant and flavourful but not as good as Dum Pukht. Dal Baluchi - Definitely one of the best black daal you can have in Mumbai. Very rich. Garlic Naan - Excellently made! Average Dishes: Dum Ka Paneer - It was alright. Not great. A typical paneer vegetable in thick gravy. The overall damages for the above would typically be above Rs. 2500, however you can save some money using Zomato Gold. This place is surely worth a visit if you crave for authentic North Indian.
