We met with a few doulas before we made our decision and Meredith was the only one who was incredibly well informed about the birth process, techniques for comfort and could explain exactly how she would get my husband involved in the birthing process. Additionally, she has far more experience than other doulas we'd met, well over 100 births. She is always enthusiastic and kind, someone you want to be around coaching you on! From the moment I met Carla and Emily, I knew we were in good hands. Their warmth and calm energy was a wonderful support during my intense labor. I love the way they made sure to include my husband in the process by guiding him in comfort measures and ways to support me as we welcomed our son but also encouraged him to take breaks when he needed them. The time they spent getting to know us in our prenatal visit and also the postpartum follow up was just as meaningful to us as having them with us for our baby's birth. They are sincere in their desire to get to know you and support you in the way that you want to be during the most significant moment of your life. They were an essential part of our care team and we would highly recommend them to everyone.
Carla and Emily were an amazing team of doulas to work with! My husband and I knew we wanted a support system for the birth of our second child, and we couldn't have been happier with Mobtown Doulas. If you are looking for a caring, calm, reassuring, knowledgeable, and fierce advocate Prenatal Doula/Postnatal Doula, Deara Marshall is the right choice. She was always available night or day to answer any and all of my questions, no matter how silly. She was a great resource of knowledge to navigate the emotional journey for both myself and my husband pre and postnatal. The support that she gave us during the birth made our experience as best as it could have possibly been and when we decide to have our next child, she is the first and only choice for us. You will not be disappointed!
