Grubby and dirty. Tables not cleaned, bathroom not cleaned since 11am (visited at 6pm) as per the sheet on the toilet door. Visited the subway. Staff members moved at a glacial pace. Hardly any food left and options very limited. Lavazzo and Gregg's closed too. A really poor experience from what I normally expect in an Applegreen.
Clean, easy to park and about as pleasant as a motorway services can be
This was the nicest gas station I've ever seen. It was a nice place to eat and spend our last Pounds before heading back to the Republic. We couldn't eat at the Subway, though, because all three girls decided to take their break at the same time, so they sat at a table chatting and using their phones while ignoring us.
I have visited many Applegreen sites both North and South, most of them have been fine and enjoyable. This site unfortunately is a let down. Greggs staff looked as if they were all hungover. Lavazza staff stood and looked at us until I asked a question and then grunted at me. Toilets are horrible and dirty. There really isn’t anything good I could say about this visit.
