Catriona is so professional and fantastic with kids, really small classes where the kids actually learn to ride properly. I would highly recommend this horse riding school.
My daughter who was thriving in the environment is distraught as she had got to know the horses and had some of the safety equipment for riding. In early October lessons stopped abrubtly with minimal communication and little explanation, however there was a promise that they would resume the 1st week of November. Having heard nothing since, I sent a message to Catriona yesterday to ask would lessons resume this week as planned and the response was that she no longer has classes for children. The text was dismissive, unprofessional and I now have a very disappointed 7 year old. I would not recommend or trust Balcultry Equestrian Centre following this experience. I am furious with how I and my daughter have been treated, utterly dismissed.

I brought my two nieces ( 15 and 8 years old ), as a once off treat. We all had an amazing time. We are complete beginners and Catriona mad us all feel so at ease and was very welcoming. Great experience. I would highly recommend Catriona and her staff.
My daughter has been going there since she was 4 and she is now 10. Excellent place, highly recommended.
I have just completed the BHS stage 1 course in Balcultry. It was one of the most educational, interesting and enjoyable courses I have ever done, I would highly recommend this course in Balcultry for anyone interested in horses and their welfare, I wish I had done this course earlier. Thankyou Caitríona for all your help and encouragement
