Great food and atmosphere in Bala. Weekends have amazing prime rib with all the fixings. Good Monday beer specials. Great fries
Pulled pork sandwich was great. Wish the seating area by the fence in the photo had foot rests though.
Tl;Dr - Fantastic food, service and a nice location. Just eat here. As someone who travels a lot for work I tend to be critical of restaurants. Castle Blue took me by surprise with the quality of food and service. The Canadian poutine is quite possibly the best poutine I have had. The chef is passionate about what he does and it shows in the food and the smile on his face when you see him around. Anyone going to the bala area should take the time to visit Castle Blue.
