Absolutely stunning!!! The house was closed due to covid restrictions so we paid for entry to the car park and gardens. Once in the gardens we discovered the maze and the underground tunnel were also closed due to social distancing measures. There was still plenty to do and see and the kids had a great time. We stayed for 3 hours but could easily have stayed longer if it wasn't so cold. The toilets were still open and a small shop selling hot drinks and food to take away was open near the exit.

Lovely park, plenty of space to socially distance. Much appreciated that you could get a take out drink and food and that only one person permitted in the place at a time.

Great place to visit. Impressive inside and out. Lovely gardens and woods to walk through with lots of bits and pieces to discover. There is a large gift shop and a couple of places to get food and drink. Guides were friendly and helpful as you would expect. Think we spent a couple of hours inside exploring the house and a similar amount of time wandering the grounds. Visited late September 2020.

Just the gardens as the house was closed, lovely blue skies for a walk, finished off with a gorgeous hot choc drink Following the stream and climbing a few rocks, fantastic views. Taken the grand kids before and they thoroughly enjoyed their day.

A great place for a walk around the gardens. We went in at 3.30pm so there was still light in the sky. Footpaths are clear and lit for later. Coffee wagons in abundance for refreshments on the journey. Fountain was on and impressive. A wonderful start to Christmas and I look forward to seeing in the house next year.
