It's actually ZERO STARS I'm sitting in the parking lot after being turned away by an employee while lots of other children were partaking in the fun inside. I Looked at the Website. Made sure that we would be arriving during the business hours stated. The web site also said "open now". This was a surprise for my son. We drove an hour to get here. We got here and he ran right for where the other children were batting. As I approached the counter I was told that it does not open to public until tomorrow. I tried to explain that we will drive two hours total to be here tonight. He could have cared less. This is a Pretty heartless unorganized place in my opinion. Any business here for kids would have at least tried to accommodate us.

Hours online say 10am-5pm. We get there at 10:20 and there are some people in the cages and the guy yells at us from inside the gate, "12 o'clock , 12 o'clock" and nothing else. He was rude to us and never explained or said anything else to us. Even if we had been able to try the place out I wouldn't go back because of how unprofessional and rude the staff was.
I’m one of the new owners of On Deck At StrikeZone. We are trying to get Google to change the name that appears when searching Google. We are no longer Riverlakes Batting Cages. We have remodeled our facility and have new hours. I’ve tried several times to get Google to update the new hours. After reading the reviews I know Riverlakes had many issues not only with the days they were open but the cages were falling apart. We at On Deck At StrikeZone invite the Bakersfield Baseball Community to come visit our updated facility. We are open Monday thru Friday from 3:30-9:30. Saturday 11:00-8:00 and Sunday from 12:00-6:00. Come check us out on Facebook and Instagram
Great place to work on fundamentals for baseball and softball. Greeted by warm staff and the entire facility is well kept.
This place is okay but a little outdated. All American Baseball off of James road is better, alot cleaner and has indoor cages.
Posted hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm we arrived at 3:00pm and they said that they haven't had a customer in over an hour so they closed. I will never come here again!!!!!
Posted hours are 10am-5pm, we arrived at 10:41am and were told that they aren't opening until 12pm. Huh? Why bother with posted hours? Looks like their hours are an ongoing issue.
