Just viewed an interaction between one of your Patrol Officers (Barker) and a group of citizens (California Guardian) on YouTube. Her behavior was exemplary and was a great example of how these contacts should be.

Had an incident with a minor hit and run and police told us to meet them there. They were quick to respond

I am driving a semi truck on 01/29/2018 at 11:20pm On highway 5 south I was initially in the first lane but the semi truck in front of me was driving very slowly doing at least 30mph and so I switched lanes into the second lane and my speed was at a steady 45mph. I was pulled over by Officer Dawson ID#16388 and he stated that I was driving in the third lane. He was driving in front of me and saw me through his rear view mirror and he told me to pull over and location he chose. I informed him that I was not driving in the third lane and that is illegal and why would I risk myself a ticket. Plus the highway is empty and I have no reason to be in the third lane. He tells me we can argue over this all you want but thats what I am citing you for. He even said that he was watching me drive this entire time before he pulled me over. He was targeting me. When he wrote out the ticket he stated on their I was doing 55mph when I know right and well I was doing 45mph. I asked if he had a radar proof he said no he just assuming I was going that speed. I have a co driver with me as witness to this interaction. This isn’t fair. CDL regulatonions are very strict and I cannot risk getting tickets on my record for no will hire me. I even told the officer this. He didn’t care! Told me to go to court and take care of it. I am a cross country driver not knowing when I’ll be back in town. I have a sick wife and family to take care of and could lose my job because an officer was bored on duty and wanted to harass me.
