The Krishi Vigyan Kendra is located at village - Salka, Tehsil– Baikunthpur, Distt– Korea (C.G.) Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Korea has been making its humble contribution through its various programmes and activities for improvingagriculture production and productivity, in sustainable manner with the collaboration of the line departments of the district - College of Agriculture, DoA, DoH, DoVS, DoW & CD, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, NFL, lead NGOs and Banks. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Korea is a district level Farm Science Center sponsored by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, established by Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Raipur at village - Salka, Tehsil; Baikunthpur, Distt– Korea (C.G.). The district Korea comes under the Northern Hills agroclimatice zone of Chhatisgarh.The aim of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to reduce the time lag between Generation of technology at the research institutions and it's transfer to the farmer's field for increasing production, productivity and income from the agriculture and allied sectors on a sustained basis.
