There are many traditional houses from different parts of Maramureș county and, in summer, even the flowers planted near them are the plants you can find in a traditional Romanian household.
Interesting view on Romanian history. We particularly liked the amazing woodwork on the st. George's church roof. It is a nice way to spend an hour or so.

If you want to learn more about Romanian History (Maramures), you will enjoy this brautiful place! The visit fee is only 5 Lei / Approx. 1 to visit the Old Village and 10 Lei / Approx. 2.5 to visit the Museum.
Nice journey back to the past. Beautifully preserved buildings in a peaceful place. There is a nice playground in front of the open-air museum, children will love.
