Huh! Depending on what you're there for but it's absolutely ok.. Lucky me residents were so nice than you can imagine. They've got more classified 'issues' though.

Absolutely amazing place. The facilities are amazing and my mum settled in great. The staff are all very caring and attentive. The manager was extremely helpful, caring and knowledgeable. We have never been in this situation where we have had to place a loved one in a care home, the manager and staff were very assuring and answered all my questions. My mum has had a great time participating in all the events, which aren’t all your classic care home activities like arts and crafts. Knitting, bingo etc. They actually go to the theatre to watch shows go to local events etc. I really can’t rate this home high enough. I would give 10 stars if I could. Keep up all the good work.

My dad hated this place. Was given a room on floor 2, which we discovered is for dementia patients (he hasn't got dementia) residents wandering into his room helping themselves to his sweets, biscuits, etc. A senior assessed him as a floor 1 patient, as soon as a room was available, he would be moved. He was there 5 weeks and never left his room, had his meals in his room as well as didn't want to socialise with other patients, no one to talk to except staff. Room on floor 1 was denied to him when it came empty because it was a \private room\ on the front, with balcony. Was told by MD we could have it for an extra 250 per week! Asked for sample menus, lovely menus, but not what residents actually get. Not enough staff on shifts, dad denied a shower coz night staff couldn't be bothered to do it in the morning. Anyway, as the saying goes, this place is all fur coat and no knickers! Moved my dad to Meadow Park, much better place. Obviously my opinion is now being attacked by people who don't agree. This is all true as it happened. Anyone who is looking to place a relative in Baedling Manor needs to make an informed decision, had I have known what I know now, my dad would never have been placed there. Everyone is entitled to draw their own conclusions.
Marie Mellon you have to much time on your hands complaining about people trying to make a living and leaving bad false reviews. Whatever helps you sleep at night. I have to say my experience is quite the opposite, and find the quality of care and services at Baedling Manor exceptional.
