The place was nice and clean. I liked the native-ish touch of the place. The staffs were kind and accomodating. The service also good, atleast to my preference.
Me and wife tried to find the best massage here in bacolod to pamper oursleves before going back to manila, definitely the best thai massage! Even beating most spas in manila that we tried! Will be back here you try to visit also!
the best spa in bacolod. been to every spa in bacolod but this one is the best its a bit pricey than other spas but their the best.
Cheap and relaxing
The receptionist was great but the masseurs are the worst I have ever seen in the area. Im not sure if they were just lazy or if they are untrained. Because of incorrect pressure points and bad technique, we had terrible back spasms for days and i had fever and chills after our visit here.
If you're coming to My Phaat for the purpose of fixing body aches, try their Potli service. Was unexpectedly impressed with the various sized steamy poultices (very Ayurvedic in approach with the herbs and spices) they literally deep-tissue knead into your sore muscles to relieve muscular pains for an hour and a half at least. Have come back for more of the pummeling which I now feel is essential to soothe one's fatigue and stress, and the inevitable stiffness and soreness they cause. If you're not in pain but just want to decompress, they also offer a relaxing Swedish massage not to mention targeted treatments like foot reflexology and scalp massage. I now look forward to a weekly massage at My Phaat and usually alternate between the Potli and the vigorous Thai massages. I highly recommend My Phaat and their masseuses.
Background Info: I am quite an active person doing muay thai, surfing, and strength training therefore my muscles can get tight or some areas more prone to lactic acid buildup. I often ask for deep tissue massage with very strong pressure. Visit to MY Phaat: It was my first time to this massage spa and opted to do a 1.5 hour Thai Massage. I have to say, outside of Thailand, this is so far the best Thai massage I've had! FACILIITES: no frills, simple, clean and organized. When you check in, you are given a pair of slippers to wear followed by a warm foot bath. You are lead to the massage area where you are given pants and shirt to wear during the massage. My massage room was located on the second floor and had quite a relaxing atmosphere. Fairly quiet, dim lighting, soft music. MASSAGE: My therapist was Monique and she began the session first sanitizing her hands. She applied the perfect amount of pressure: steady and strong, so that problematic areas hurt but not in an acute painful way. I felt she hit all the pressure points and tighter areas thoroughly and it was a mix of relief yet at the same time very relaxing (for a Thai massage). She took great care and time so I felt very much at ease (no sudden shocking movements). I also had some bruising on my legs that I told her prior to the session and she took great care not to injure the area. The stretching was amazing! I felt completely released. and afterwards my session was followed with hot tea. I will definitely be back before I leave bacolod and I highly recommend Monique!!
