We ate here quite by accident after telephoning its sister restaurant sat 5th .the restaurant looked amazing guy on the door could of smiled more and the young girls a bit hit and miss probably in training but it showed . However I'm all for learning on the job as I can highly recommend this place and will definitely go again starters .greek mixed kebabs and greek salad all extremely well presented and piping hot . Loved it all and already planning our next visit and taking my daughter and partner . Worth a visit if your ever in buxton.

First restaurant visited to dine-in since lockdown was eased, great tasting food being served here at Bacchus and Wine Bar with excellent service in keeping with covid-19 regulations. The food here is cooked very well with delicous flavours and fresh ingredients which really does make you think you're eating the food on holiday in Greece or southern Italy. Would definitely recommend the ox cheek and chicken liver dishes which are packed full of flavour. The wine menu had a good selection, would definitely recommend the Sicilian pinot grigio with the seafood dishes such as the sardines and octopus.
Had an excellent meal last night for our party of 9. Really enjoyed the menu choice. Service was very good and all staff very pleasant and efficient.
Great Mediterranean fusion restaurant. Centrally located with good wine and cocktails too. Try the grilled octopus!
