This past Super Bowl Sunday, I had a terrible experience. I placed an order online at 4 pm for a 5:15 pm pickup time. I get there and they then now tell me they’re out of buns and mild links. I was never notified or even got a call to update my order beforehand. On top of that my order wasn’t even ready. So what is the point of a pickup time if my order wasn’t even ready. Even better the workers in the back were mocking me saying “this is for the frustrated guy” and were laughing. It’s 72 worth of food and they have completely ruined my order. Service is not up to par for busy days and have no way of communicating with customers about their orders before they get there. You’d think since this place was on Chicago’s best it would have higher standards of service, but I was wrong. Last time I will ever go there. Fire Water BBQ in crest hill never lets me down, it’s best to go there folks. Their pulled pork sandwiches are better and service is always amazing there. Not wasting my time and money at this place anymore.

Good alternative when I'm too lazy to drive to one of the better BBQ places. Meat is delicious and great but the sides are lacking. Huge servings but I'd rather have quality than quantity. Mac and cheese tasted instant and the coleslaw was just too watery. Ignore the mild BBQ sauce and go straight for the HOT BBQ sauce.
Found Baby Back Blues on a google search and decided to give it a try. I’m normally not a fan of smoked BBQ however the reviews were good so I decided to try. Ordered a 3 meat plate (rib tips, smoked hot sausage, brisket) with Mac n cheese and fries also added 3 bones. The food was delicious; juice and tender. The sausage and hot bbq sauce was spicy (just the way that I like it), ribs finger tender and a container full of fresh cut fries. Plenty of food for two adults and my 6 year old even had some. I would definitely return.
I came in here to pick up a Doordash order for a customer, and while I was there I got a sandwich for myself. I can say it is easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The meat was prepared so well it was like nothing I've ever had. Moist, flavorful, it gave me a smoky tasting feeling. The bread was toasted, and very good. The BBQ sauce that came with the sandwich was amazing! I can understand why this place is so highly rated now as I have finally had something from there, and I hope to return soon.
I was one of the first employees to work here, many years ago. The owner is a great guy. It was a clean, fun, delicious place to work and eat. Still awesome all these years later.
