We went on New Years Eve. Ate the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. Big piece of meat, well breaded, crunchy and fresh. They give you all you can eat sides. Which were all good mashed potatoes and gravy, corn and green beans. But the best thing they had was the biscuits. They were hot and fresh. Serice was great would definitely go back. Interesting enough I do not like chicken but went because my wife likes cheken and the restaurant was very clean and well ventilated.

My wife had recommended this place, so we visited today. Nice location in Cedar Hill. Small town feeling near main street. Our waitress was Awesome and timely. The biscuits were old school, made we remember my childhood eating at Ms. Grace house with her homemade pancakes. The salad dressing was straight from fathers kitchen in Mississippi, and the baked chicken was superb. I kept eating mash potatoes and green beans. I was full, and when the 4 of us returned home, we took a nap. That is what good food suppose to do. We will be back.
Great as always. Aspen, our waitress, was fabulous. Not crowded, but food was as good as it has ever been. Show them some love, people, they take the Covid cleaning very seriously.
You can never go wrong with Babes. My only concern is that the set tables on both sides of us but the restaurant was nearly empty. With Covid I am not sure why they would do that with so many available tables throughout the restaurant.
I wish I could give 10 stars! This was my first time going here. After living in SC for 10 years I sure missed that great fried chicken and biscuit meal. Wow!! It's all I can say for this super juicy tender chicken. The biscuit even had a light crunch to it! Those super duper creamy mashed potatoes were perfect and the creamy heavy was seasoned perfectly. Don't even get me started on that yummy sweet corn!!!!! I'll definitely bring all my family back here. So delicious! Thank you
