More of a 3* hotel. The service at breakfast and the rooms were not as expected in a 4* hotel. The room and the bathroom were very outdated, the carpet smelled weird. Bathroom would have been cute, Portuguese style, but some things should be replaced of fixed after some years... Breakfast was just OK, only eggs and bacon as warm food. Bread tasted good and fresh, fruits not so much. Coffee was bad. Pool and jacuzzi were a plus. Water in the pool was warm and we had extra towels for it. Saunas were closed... The lobby and sitting area are refurbished and look really good. Too bad they keep the same decor in the room from when the hotel was built.

Restaurant’s selection was limited. Good standard in rooms & a usable spa with indoor & outdoor pools, sauna & steam room and a jacuzzi.
A real 4 star hotel, with a 5 star swimming pool and a 3 star food, for my taste.
Loved it here...nice room with a wonderful private terrace. Both indoor and outdoor pools were lovely and enjoyed the sauna and steam room too. Incredible views of neighbouring Pico and so conveniently located. The daily breakfasts were delicious and the fresh succulents on each table was a nice touch. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Hope to visit again.️
Beautiful hotel, with little villa's with multiple apartments. Very classic but comfortable rooms. Dinner and breakfast where very tasty. I was very disappointed in the gym. The weightlift was broken and for me, that is the most important attribute. The Swimming pool was alright, inside and outside. Friendly personal. Had a good stay at the hotel.
