My mum in law passed in August and she expressed to us that she wanted Ayton and Ranson to conduct her ceremony, she knew of them as they had conducted her husbands 4 years prior. We couldn't have asked for more, they were on hand whenever was needed with questions and bent over backwards to help including some special little things that Lilian would have wanted. They treated my mum in law with respect and dignity during her first interaction, when she buried her own husband and during her own funeral service. The service they provided couldnt be faulted, it was exactly as she'd have wanted. During a very difficult time, of not only bereavement but Covid, they made it so much easier so we could lay her to rest in a manner she'd have wanted. We just want to say a big thank you to them on behalf of Mrs Relph and a thank you from the family.

We used Ayton Funeral Service as my mother in law had selected them with her funeral plan. We could not fault the service provided by Jane and the team. They were professional throughout and made our lives so much easier at a very sad time. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

When my mum died in March I did not know anything about arranging her funeral. I called Alan Ranson because they had dealt with my dad's funeral 15 years ago and the care and commitment was today as then. I spoke to Jane and she guided me through the process given the challenges of \social distancing\ she made it more than I could have hoped for. The staff are so amazing and genuinely sympathetic, I cannot thank them enough.
After feeling dissatisfied with the funeral service I used for my father 5 years ago in Leeds, I spent time researching local funeral services well before the death of my mother. I found Jane and Tony at Ayton approachable, genuine, professional and supportive. When my mother died just before Christmas 2019 the team were already aware of her wishes, and smoothly put things into operation. Ayton were professional, compassionate, kind and easily contactable. They discreetly dealt with some difficult family dynamics without fuss or question. Although I know that they were busy with other families at a very difficult time of year (a death just before the Festive Season) I felt they were solely there for me and my mum. They guided us as a family through a sad and stressful time with gentle hands. I don't usually write reviews of services, but felt the need to say how much I recommend Ayton. Five stars on all counts.
